Company Background:
The principle owners of Oakland Venue Management, Steve Snider and Andrew Jones, have been in the venue development and management business for a combined 20 years. In 2007, after working together for four years and developing substantial connections in the local event promotions community, Snider and Jones decided to create a business partnership and incorporate as a new limited liability company. From the beginning, OVM’s primary mission was to fully integrate and leverage Snider and Jones’ substantial venue management experience for the purposes of seeking new project management contracts. Snider and Jones also recognized it as a way to create a synergistic relationship between their non-profit community development work and their for-profit venue development and event management services and Oakland Venue Management was born.
